Comparison
Verza vs Upfluence
Upfluence is a large creator search tool with a CRM your team logs into. Verza keeps the creators it finds, and the campaign starts from a product URL.
Choose Upfluence if you want a big search index and a CRM your team will log into to build lists. Choose Verza if the people you find should already have a profile, a drafted email, and a later question you can ask: status, or ROAS.

| What you need | Verza | Upfluence |
|---|---|---|
| Center of the product | The campaign, from URL to ROAS. | Search and the creator CRM around an ecommerce brand. |
| How it starts | Paste the product page into the chat. | Search the index and build a list inside Upfluence. Confirm any current AI or MCP connector on their docs before you assume an assistant can drive it. |
| Outreach | Written for that creator. Send on approval, or hold in Gmail. | Outreach tools sit in the CRM. The email is not a Gmail draft by default. |
| Stores | Shopify and WooCommerce, link and code per creator. | Ecommerce integrations are a reason brands buy it. Confirm the store you actually run. |
| Payouts and tax | On Verza, in the same flow as the campaign. | Not the reason you buy Upfluence. Ask what is included before you retire your payment tool. |
| Price you can read | Verza’s first campaign is free. Launch is $69 a month with 100 Optic leads. Enterprise and Flagship are custom, at 3,500 and 8,000 Optic leads. What you pay creators stays separate from the subscription. | Custom quote. There is no public Launch-style card to compare with $69. |
A full bar means this is a reason to buy it. A shorter bar means it can do this. No bar means it does not.

What Upfluence is built for
Upfluence is creator discovery for ecommerce. The value is the index and the integrations: find people who match a store, keep them in a CRM, and reach them from that CRM. Teams that already know they need a database buy it for the database.
Some 2026 roundups mention an official MCP connector in beta. Treat that as a claim to verify on Upfluence’s own docs, not as “the campaign already lives in Claude.” A connector is not the same product shape as a prompt that drafts the campaign.
What Verza is built for
Optic searches for a specific product. Matches come back with scores, and the first email is already written. The creator stays in Verza. You do not export a spreadsheet and call that finished.
Finished means a creator with a link and a code, a payment on Verza, and an answer when you ask how the campaign did.
Where the work happens
Upfluence is the better buy when someone’s whole week is building lists, and the CRM has to hold years of those relationships. Verza is the better buy when the list is step two of a campaign you want live after you approve it. The creators still stay in Verza.
Money, tracking, and tax forms
Budget a separate payout and tax process if you buy Upfluence only. Verza includes creator pay and tax forms because the campaign is incomplete without them. Store attribution on Verza is explicit: Shopify and WooCommerce.
Which one to pick
Pick Upfluence when
You want a large creator search index, you will run the program inside that login, and a custom quote is fine.
Pick Verza when
Search should launch a campaign, the email should wait for your approval, and you want to ask how it did. The creator profile, the email, and the sale stay in Verza.
Questions people ask
- Does Upfluence work inside ChatGPT?
- Do not assume it. Check Upfluence’s current docs. Verza runs from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Codex, and the creators it finds stay in Verza.
- Which has the bigger creator database?
- Upfluence sells the index. Verza sells the search that comes back with a score and an email for the product you named. A larger index is not the same as a shorter path to a campaign.
- Will either one pay the creator?
- Verza will, on Verza, with tax forms. Upfluence is not a payout product first. Confirm any payment add-on in the quote.
